February 2015 Updates

States Results:

Although there were some mishaps, the Parity Bits ranked 8th among 32 teams at the Massachusetts State Championship and advances to Super-Regionals with the Think Award!!!

Many thanks to our incredible notebook team who worked diligently to perfect our immaculate notebook! Also, our advancement could not have happened without the participation and dedication of every single member on our team! Moving onto Super-Regionals is a very accomplished feat for a rookie team, and we are looking forward to this competition in Scranton, PA in mid-March!

League Championship Results:

The Parity Bits moves on to States with the Rockwell Collins Innovate Award!!!!!!!!!!

We are very proud of our team for advancing despite it being our first year!

2014-2015 Rookie Season Update

The team has been working very hard this season since the new challenge, Cascade Effect was announced in September.  We have been working extremely hard, learning how to design, build, program, and debug robots. Competitions are also new to us as we are in a FIRST League where we have had 3 meets with our other 8 league teams.  The meets have been a serious challenge as we must have a functioning robot that is competitive just about every 3 weeks.  It has been a really steep learning curve, especially with all the snow days, the end of the quarter and the number things we have to learn.  But, we have had a great first season so far and looking forward to what lies ahead.  The R2B2 League Championship is coming up Saturday February 7th at Mansfield High School.  Come and cheer us on.
